How did your company begin?

Why did you create your particular certified products?
Fibregum™ is an ingredient that can take part in certified FODMAP FriendlyTM finished products. Fibregum™ has technological advantages and nutritional benefits.
Indeed, Fibregum™ is an easy-to-use ingredient (soluble in water, no adding color / odor / flavor, low viscosity and hygroscopicity, stability to heat treatment and acidity). The production process uses only physical water purification steps.
All-natural and organic certified, Fibregum™ is composed of 100% acacia gum. Fibregum™ has a high fiber content, with at least 90 % of fiber on dry extract. So Fibregum™ has a prebiotic effects but also high digestive properties (stimulation of beneficial Short Chain Fatty Acids production, gut barrier restoration, glycaemic control, and tooth remineralization).
What are your own personal experiences with digestive health?
Every day, 70 million people are subject to digestive discomfort1. The low FODMAP diet is scientifically proven to be the most effective dietary approach for people with digestive disorders or symptoms of Irritable Bowel Syndrome. IBS affects between 10% to 15% of the population worldwide. In order to limit these digestive issues, people have to avoid foods containing high level of FODMAP.
It is now widely known that gut health may influence a large range of related troubles. Prebiotic ingredients may help to preserve gut health, by bringing a healthy balance to the microflora.

Why did you want to certify your products?
Today, dietary fibers intake is still insufficient worldwide. And yet, dietary fibers are essential to Health. Benefits of a high-fiber diet are numerous, in particular contributing to normalize bowel movements, to control blood sugar & fat levels or to maintain bowel health and a healthy weight.
Our product Fibregum™ has a high fiber content, with at least 90 % of soluble fiber on dry extract. Fibregum™ dietary fibers are all-natural with proven prebiotic benefits and sourced from selected acacia trees. Moreover, thanks to its unique structure, Fibregum™ has a high digestive tolerance and does not generate discomfort even at high doses (50g/day). Fibregum™ dietary fiber are suitable for fructose-free, gluten-free, allergen-free, halal, kosher, vegan but also for low FODMAP diets.
