The inspiration behind the OWYN brand

OWYN is an acronym for Only What You Need. OWYN’s mission is to provide full transparency into their ingredients and ensure the cleanest formulations that never compromise on taste. OWYN’s goal is to challenge the industry to adopt their standards.

At OWYN, what’s inside matters. How they select ingredients and formulate their products matters to them. OWYN has the ideal nutrition panel and ingredient list to prove it. OWYN only use high-quality, clean, plant based ingredients that are carefully selected to provide beneficial nutrients. OWYN never uses artificial or chemical-sounding ingredients. All their products are not only free from the top 8 allergens but are third-party tested to ensure there is no cross-contact with the common allergens.

How did OWYN Begin?

One of OWYN’s founders was inspired to make a difference in the food allergy world after undergoing years of tests and diagnoses with his own son, who lives with food allergies every day. Unable to find nutritious, allergen free options that also taste good, he became dedicated to bringing a better alternative with strict allergen testing protocols to market, creating OWYN.

OWYN was inspired to develop a pancake and waffle mix for the food allergy and intolerance community because we found our customers didn’t have any options available. Most mixes contain top allergens, like dairy, gluten, and nuts/nut flour, leaving those with allergies and intolerances without an option.
