FODMAP Friendly Popcorn Chicken Recipe By Lo Fo Pantry
Lo Fo Pantry low FODMAP Popcorn Chicken is absolutely delicious and is sure to be a crowd pleaser! These tasty little treats make a perfect afternoon snack or appetiser before dinner.
Made with the Lo Fo Pantry’s world first low FODMAP Wheat Plain Flour, this popcorn chicken is delicious when served with the tasty coriander and mint dipping sauce.

Ingredients For Popcorn Chicken
- 300g Chicken Breast
- 2 Tbsp Lo-Fo Pantry Low FODMAP Plain Flour
- 1 Egg
- 125g ORGRAN Crispi Rice Breadcrumbs
- Pinch of Salt
- 1 Tsp Paprika
- Canola Oil For Fryig
Ingredients For Dipping Sauce
- 1 Handful of Coriander Leaves
- 1 Handful of Mint
- 1 Lemon Zest & Juice
- 1 Cup Greek Yoghurt
- 1/2 Tsp Dijon Mustard
- 4 Tsp Cobram Estate Garlic Infused Olive Oil
- Pinch of Sea Salt
Steps For Popcorn Chicken:
- 1. Mix salt, pepper, paprika and Lo Fo Pantry Low FODMAP Plain Flour.
- 2. Dice the chicken into 3cm pieces and toss in flour mix.
- 3. Dip the coated chicken into beaten eggs and toss into breadcrumbs. Set aside on a lined baking tray for 10 minutes in the fridge.
- 4. Heat canola oil and fry the chicken in batches until golden. Drain remaining oil on a kitchen towel.
Steps For Coriander Mint Sauce:
- 1. Combine all sauce ingredients in a blender and whizz until well combined.
- 2. Serve the chicken pieces hot with coriander mint sauce.
