Low FODMAP Classic Lasagna

Just because you’re on a low FODMAP diet doesn’t mean you have to miss out! This classic lasagna recipe is low FODMAP using the Prego’s FODMAP Friendly Certified Pasta Sauce. This lasagna is perfect for everything from casual get-togethers to special occasions to Sunday dinner.
NOTE: This recipe calls for a large amount of different cheeses so please be mindful if you are lactose sensitive.

Low FODMAP Classic Lasagna

Cook time: 40 mins

Ingredients:

¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
½ cup ricotta cheese
½ cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
2 eggs
450g (1 pound) ground beef
1 jar of Prego Sensitive Recipe Sauce
12 cooked lasagna sheets, drained

Method:

1.Stir the ricotta cheese, half of parmesan cheese and eggs in a medium bowl and set aside.
2. Season the beef as desired and cook over medium-high heat until the beef is well browned; stirring often to break up the beef.
3. Pour off any fat and stir the sauce in the saucepan.
4. Spoon 2 cups of beef mixture into a large baking dish.
5. Top with 4 lasagna sheets, half the ricotta cheese mixture and half the mozzarella.
6. Repeat the layers and top with the remaining 4 lasagna sheets, remaining beef and the remaining parmesan cheese.
7. Bake at 200°C (400°F) for 30 minutes or until the lasagna is hot. Let stand for 30 minutes before cutting.
