Thought that low FODMAP meant garlic prawns were a dish of the past? Think again!

Get cooking and enjoy this delicious meal with the help of FreeFOD‘s newly certified Low FODMAP Garlic Replacer.

Serves: 4

Ingredients:

  • 1kg large prawns, peeled & deveined with tail intact
  • 100g butter
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 4-6 teaspoons FreeFOD garlic replacer
  • Sprinkle of chilli flakes
  • 1/2 cup fresh parsley
  • Rice of your choice, to serve

 

Method:

  1. Cook rice according to packet instructions
  2. Heat butter and oil in a large fry pan or wok over high heat and add prawns and chilli flakes
  3. Cook for 1 minute, stirring
  4. Reduce heat to low and add parsely, continuing to stir for 2 minutes or until prawns change colour
  5. Stir FreeFOD garlic replacer through the dish and remove from heat
  6. Serve over rice and enjoy!
