How did your company begin?
Christine Hanson Haas MS LDN CNS, licensed nutritionist and the owner of Washington Nutrition Group, a chain of medical nutrition therapy and weight loss clinics in the Washington DC Metro Area has always recommended nutrition bars and shakes high in protein to her patients for convenience, blood sugar control, optimal metabolism and satiety. When Christine was unable to find nutrition bars and shakes high in protein and free of artificial ingredients low in FODMAPs for her IBS patients who can’t tolerate the traditional high protein products and supplements on the market she created STELLAR LABS®, an artificial free protein shake, bar and supplement company with a line of low FODMAP products.
Stellar Labs was developed by Christine Hanson M.S., L.D.N., C.N.S., C.P.T., licensed nutritionist and personal trainer and owner and operator of Washington Nutrition Group, a chain of medical nutrition therapy and weight loss clinics in the Washington DC Metro Area.
What is the inspiration behind your range?
I wanted to help my IBS patients who are active or need low FODMAP foods on the go to have quality protein bars, shakes and supplements they could tolerate.
Why did you create your particular certified products?
I wanted to help my low FODMAP patients find quality protein bars, shakes and supplements they could tolerate because I could not find any on the market. The FODMAP Friendly Certification gives the consumer 100% confidence they are consuming foods low in FODMAPs.
What are your own personal experiences with digestive health?
I have seen the low FODMAP diet help patients with IBS issues tremendously and wanted to provide this group struggling with IBS symptoms with low FODMAP options because quality low FODMAP foods can be hard to find.
Why did you want to certify your products?
I wanted to certify my products because there are so many questions about whether protein bars, shakes and supplements are low FODMAP or not. This way people can be 100% assured the STELLAR LABS Brand will provide them with quality low FODMAP high protein shakes, bars and supplements.
What separates your products from others available on the market?
Our products are certified low FODMAP and are free of artificial flavors, colourings, preservatives and sweeteners. We carry the highest protein low FODMAP bar and shake on the market. We are also the only line of certified low FODMAP supplements available in the USA.
Are there more products to be added to your range in future?
