Rich Glen creates premium, Australian-made olive oil-based products that nourish both body and soul. They are passionate about quality, their people’s expertise, and their close partnership with Australian producers.

What is the inspiration behind Rich Glen?
In 1982, located along the Murray River in Yarrawonga Victoria, Franc and Marija Vodusek purchased the property Rich Fields, and the adjoining property Glen Loth in 1984. Paying homage to the origins of both properties, Rich Glen was formed.
In 1997 Franc and his son Daimien planted 36,000 olive trees and with the addition of a state-of-the-art processing plant in 2001, the family started to make extra virgin olive oil. The processing plant enabled the family to harvest and press the olives within a couple of hours, producing one of the freshest and finest extra virgin olive oils in the Australian market.
Rich Glen’s retail journey began selling extra virgin olive oil in the spare room of the family house using an ‘honesty box’ system. The ever-popular farm-gate cafe opened up in 2014, and went on to win gold for excellence in food tourism at the 2018 RACV Victorian Tourism awards. During March of 2020, the farm-gate cafe closed due to Covid, and the flagship store in Yarrawonga opened months later.
Rich Glen remains operated by the Vodusek family and is currently run by fifth generation farmers Damien Vodusek, previously a butcher and his wife Rosalind Vodusek, a trained chef.
Their products are made on-farm in Yarrawonga. They harvest, process, fill and pack their range of over 200 products, at their manufacturing facilities, located at the centre of the Olive Estate. Everything gets completed in-house, from product development and packaging design, to distribution, marketing and retail sales. They have a team of 75 working across all areas of the business.
