Low FODMAP Chicken Tikka Masala

This Chicken Tikka Masala recipe is not only FODMAP Friendly, it is also delicious all thanks to Slightly Different’s Tikka Masala Sauce! Slightly Different aim to show consumers that they can enjoy nutrient dense flavourful food.

Serves 4


4 chicken breasts (chopped into small pieces)
1 tsp of Cobram Estate Garlic Infused Extra Virgin Olive Oil
½ a jar of Slightly Different Fruit & Creamy Tikka Masala
¼ cup Greek Yoghurt
400g tinned tomatoes
4 serves of cooked rice
Chopped  coriander or chives (greens only) to garnish


  1. 1. In a saucepan, cook chicken breasts in oil until tender.  Then add the Tikka Masala Sauce and let simmer for 2-3 minutes
  2. 2. Add tinned tomatoes and greek yoghurt. Stir and allow to simmer for five minutes
  3. 3. Once the curry is fragrant, serve with rice and garnish with greens of choice

For more nutrients, add:

  • 1 cup of broccoli heads
  • 1 red capsicum
  • 1 cup of eggplant
  • 2 cups of spinach
