‘Shroom Dressing
This recipe only takes minutes to make and needs just a handful of ingredients to create a full of flavour salad dressing, taking your salad to the next level!
Ingredients to serve 4:
2 tablespoons avocado or coconut oil
2 tablespoon sesame oil
2 teaspoons Freshcap Mushrooms Thrive 6
1 lime juiced (about 2 tablespoons)
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon maple syrup
Method:
- 1. In a small bowl, whisk together oil and mushroom powder until powder dissolves. Whisk in remaining ingredients, until oil is fully combined, about 30-45 seconds.
- 2. Pour dressing over your salad made of low FODMAP veggies and toss to combine. Portion into 4 servings and eat immediately.
Examples of low FODMAP vegetables you can include in a salad are cabbage, carrot, cucumber, lettuce, radish and cherry tomatoes. To make it a balanced meal, add a serve of protein food such as grilled chicken and a serve of low FODMAP grains such as quinoa!
