What is Fibryxa™?
Fibryxa™ is a water-soluble dietary fibre produced from starch by enzymatic reactions. The main component is isomaltodextin, a multi-branched alpha glucan with various bioactive functions as fibre. Because Fibryxa™ has little flavour and is odourless, it is suitable for filling the fibre deficiency of modern life without extra efforts. Fibryxa™ stands for fibre, innovative and extra ‘A’ grade. Fibryxa™ is a high-grade fibre that brings your life up another notch.
Fibryxa™ is a food ingredient for bulk use. It can be added to various foods such as baked goods, beverages and also supplements.
What makes Fibryxa™ different?
Fibryxa™ is almost tasteless when dissolved in water. It does not have astringency that other fibres tend to have, because it is manufactured under mild conditions compared to other fibres. Fibryxa™ is less likely to participate in a maillard reaction and retrogradation, so it is suitable for transparent products such as bottled beverages. Fibryxa™ has prebiotic-like effect along with being Low in FODMAP, by being partly digested.
