Low FODMAP Freemills Lemonade Scones

These beautiful scones are a great quick recipe (only 15 minutes in the oven).  Serve with some low FODMAP fruit such as 50g of strawberries and whipped cream if you wish.  Whipped cream is low FODMAP at 1/2 a cup and contains lactose at larger serves.  If you are sensitive to lactose stick to a smaller amount of whipped cream or as per your tolerance.

Low FODMAP Lemonade Scones

1 Scone is 1 serve

Ingredients:

3 cups Gluten Free Freemills Plain Flour
1 cup lemonade
1 cup thickened cream

Method:

1. Sift flour into a bowl.
2. Add in the lemonade and cream. Stir until combined into a ball. You may need to add a touch more flour.
3. Using a rolling pin roll out onto a bench surface, until 3 cm (about 1 inch) thick
4. Using a scone cutter cut out rounds, and put onto a lined baking tray.
5. Bake in an oven at 180°C (356°F) for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
