Introducing the newly FODMAP Friendly accredited BellyCare ready-made meals!

BellyCare’s mission is to help sufferers of irritable bowel syndrome with their low FODMAP ready meals.
Mélissa and Rémy, dietitians and food and health engineers, are committed to offering you tasty and healthy meals, delivered directly to your home!

What is the inspiration behind BellyCare?

Mélissa was diagnosed with IBS as a young dietetics student. During her studies, she researched the low FODMAP diet and appreciated its evidence-based approach to nutrition, which is rare in France.

In 2020, Mélissa took a French low FODMAP diet course and decided to follow the diet herself. She found it challenging, even as a health professional. This led her to wonder why there were no low FODMAP meals or snacks available on the French market and how “normal” patients could manage such a restrictive diet without giving up.

After completing her bachelor’s degree, Mélissa pursued a food and health engineering program where she and her associate Rémy who is also a dietitian, started creating low FODMAP meals and snacks for IBS patients.
After three months of work, they decided to continue their efforts and start BellyCare.

What makes BellyCare different?

In France, IBS and the low FODMAP diet remain very niche topics. While there are healthy meal deliveries, weight loss meals, and industrial ready-made meals available, there are no easily accessible low FODMAP or gluten-free ready-made meals.
BellyCare are here to offer local and exotic flavours by adapting popular French meals to the low FODMAP diet and include some international recipes.
