Introducing the newly FODMAP Friendly certified Pane Vivo!

As most bread production turns industrial despite its “artisanal” branding, bread as a food staple is mostly dead. Pane Vivo — “living bread” in Italian — aims to provide a healthy, nutritious and delicious bread that can claim back its central role in the diet of all, including people with IBS people.

What is the inspiration behind Pane Vivo?

Adriano started Pane Vivo after he started baking at home. He saw many friends being suspicious about bread: hard to digest, bad on blood sugar levels, bread was avoided by many. Being a former journalist, he started investigating, published a book and, when Adriano found a solution, he opened the Pane Vivo bakery.
Growing up in Italy and living in Paris, Adriano’s always loved bread. But he didn’t know how processed bread had become. He want to give back the right and the pleasure to eat bread to everybody, from diabetic to gluten intolerant and people with irritable bowel syndrome.

What makes Pane Vivo different?

Pane Vivo is the only wheat-based bread that all non-coeliac gluten sensitive people can eat. That derives from the ingredient sourcing, the milling and the fermentation but also from their unique research and development approach.
All of their breads are based on the same secret recipe and a 136 year old sourdough starter.
