Sonia Mason, co-founder of Slightly Different Foods, is just like you.

She was diagnosed with IBS and struggled to find foods that she could eat safely on the low FODMAP diet.

Frustrated by the lack of low FODMAP products on the UK market, she set herself a challenge to create recipes that enabled her to enjoy the foods she craved.

She started showcasing her low FODMAP, free from products at markets, food shows, local businesses and farm shops with success! The next step was to create consumer confidence and by certifying her products as FODMAP Friendly.

All of Sonia’s products have been laboratory tested to be low in FODMAPs and safe for those following the low FODMAP diet.

 

How Are Slightly Different Foods – slightly different?

Sonia wanted to re-create her favourite dishes, using allergy friendly and low FODMAP ingredients. She adds a unique flavour to products recipes by using ‘slightly different’  ingredients, not commonly used in other low FODMAP food products. Sonia found that eating food without preservatives, sulphites and strong flavours helped her digestive system. She omitted these from her own recipe creations and found the perfect balance of flavour, without needing to add any of these triggering ingredients.
