The Lo-Fo Pantry plain flour is the world’s first flour to be FODMAP Friendly certified.

The FODMAPs are extracted from the grain of 100 per cent Australian, GMO-free wheat as part of an all-natural, chemical-free wet milling process pioneered at Australia’s biggest flour mill, the regional NSW flagship of Manildra Group.

 

How did your company begin?

Manildra Group commenced operations in 1952, when the Honan family purchased a flour mill in the central west New South Wales town of Manildra. Since then, the company has evolved into a diverse agribusiness that brings the finest Australian food and industrial products to the world.

What’s In Lo-Fo Pantry?

The Lo-Fo Pantry range currently includes Plain Flour (All Purpose Flour) and will be expanding its range with a Baking Mix, Bread Flour and Bread Flour with Seeds in the future. All Lo-Fo Pantry flour products are tested by the Global Certifier of low FODMAP packaged foods –  FODMAP Friendly, and approved for millions of consumers who follow the low FODMAP diet.

Why did you create your particular certified products?

The Lo-Fo Pantry brand plays a significant role in the gut health and wellbeing space, re-opening the door to baking. The growing success of the world’s first low FODMAP certified flours for avoiding digestive issues linked to Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) has led to the launch of Manildra Group’s first-ever international retail brand.
